Koi Alpha 9 is now live!
Koi Alpha 9.4 is a major complete build for A Koi Story! These are the following updates:
Movement: -The relationship between the speed stat and the standard moving speed has been adjusted, making the top speed slower -Falling as the player now falls as expected (previously was floaty and had skyrim physics) -Rock clusters cannot be climbed anymore -All trees have been adjusted so the spirits can pass through them.
- Various holes in the invisible walls have been patched up.
UI:
- NEW FEATURE! There is now a meter on the right side of the screen to indicate how high up the mountain you are
- Orb adjustment UI was changed for readability -the word “MAX” on the orb investment screen no longer spills over to a second line
SPIRITS: -Water Spirits no longer continue pursuing when in the air, which should prevent spirits from landing directly on top of the player
SOUND: -Basic musing SHOULD now loop.
COMBAT: -The range of the spin attack has been increased -The effect of the spin attack has been adjusted so it more clearly portrays the attack’s range. -The spin attack damage was increased (was 100, now 120) -Standard attack height increased to hit spirits that do still end up landing on player -The long range wave attack’s size has been reduced -the long range wave attack’s damage has been reduced (was 35, now 30)
